We are a group of hardworking, innovative 8th grade girls. We are students at charter school in the pico-union neighborhood. We are planning a project that addresses homelessness in our community. We want to create and expand reading opportunities for children experiencing homelessness. We plan to empower children to obtain an excellent reading education by encouraging a love of reading and good reading habits.
